Ganderbal: Anganwadi employees and Helpers along with their children protested here against the recent government order  that said they will only be given salary after clearance from Sarpanchs.

Employees gathered in  Qamariya Park here and demanded immediate revocation of the order .

They said on one hand government is reluctant to accept our genuine demands for which we have been protesting for long and on the other hand orders are being passed that damage our working.

This order not only undermines us but will also prove to be the biggest impediment in the work we are supposed to do, they said.

They claimed that the employees are educated and Sarpanchs majorly don’t know the working of the things.

“Sarpanchs should not be made into officers, they must not be given any chance to interfere with our work,” protesting employees said, adding that they will fight against the order tooth and nail.
