Rajouri: Line of Control has been rattled by exchange of gunfire between India and Pakistan armies in Nowshera sector in Rajouri district of Jammu division of J&K.

Officials said that at about 0030 hours Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector, District Rajouri (J&K).

“Indian Army is responding strongly and effectively,” he said.

LOC has been hot since few days with two armies shelling each other continuously.

A ten day baby was killed few days back of fatal injuries he had received near LOC.

An Army officer was killed yesterday as well in Tangdhar area in north Kashmir in cross LOC shelling.
