Shopian: Two militants have been killed in a gunfight in Bonbazar area of Shopian district on Saturday morning.

According to officials the bodies of the duo have been recovered and their identity is being ascertained.

Earlier, a joint team of forces includign 23 Para ,JK Police’s SOG and CRPF jointly launched cordon and search operation in the area on Friday late evening.

The searches culminated into a gunfight early Saturday morning in which the two militants were killed.
