Ganderbal: The strategic 434Km Srinagar-Leh highway has been closed for vehicular movement on Friday as well following massive landslide yesterday evening at Zojilla Pass.

According to officials a massive landslide occurred at the Zojilla pass sweeping upon the road rendering it blocked.

The road was closed yesterday following landslides due to cloudburst at various locations over the stretch.

An official said that men and machinery are on the job to clear the debris and blockages.

However they claimed that it is unlikely that the road will be through for traffic by evening.
