Ganderbal: A Musk deer was captured by locals in Ganderbal district’s Chatergul Kangan area who had apparently come down from nearby forests.

Locals said that the deer was spotted and captured on Thursday evening.

“A female mask deer was handed over to them by locals who had caught her alive,” Range officer wildlife Ganderbal Abdul Rashid

He also said that the musk deer was shifted to Dachigam National Park.
