Baramulla: Efforts to trace the 17-year old Baramulla youth who drowned in river Jhelum at Drangbal area here has entered second day with Navy,  Morcos commandos,  National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Police and local authorities teaming up together.

Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed Dar resident of Jalsheeri Baramulla drowned in the water body while taking bath and no trace of him has been found since.

Authorities launched search and rescue operation on Sunday to locate Momin, however with a little success .

Officials said that Navy and Marcos Commandos (marine commandos) have also been pressed into service to locate the boy.
