Baramulla: A seven year old boy drowned in river Jehlum at Sultanpora Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday afternoon.

An eye witness said that the boys were taking bath in the water body when the kid drowned.

He has been identified as faizan Ahmad marazi S/o Mohammad Yousuf Marazi of Sultanpora Pattan.

After the incident locals rushed towards the spot and retrieved the body from river and was evacuated to nearby SDH Sumbal for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
