Amarnath Yatra crosses one lakh mark in 8 days

Srinagar: The number of pilgrims paying obeisance at the cave shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir Himalayas crossed the one lakh mark in 8 days this year, officials said on Monday.
On the 8th day of the ongoing Hindu pilgrimage, 15,732 Yatris paid obeisance at the Cave. “Till date 1,11,655 Yatris had the darshan of the Shivling at the Holy Cave,” an official of the SASB said in a statement issued here.
