Baramulla: Police on Tuesday said that it has solved the Rs 51 Lakh theft case in Gondola Gulmarg and has arrested five accused including an employee in the case.

The stolen amount has been recovered from their possession.

On the intervening night of June 23 and 24, burglars struck at cash counter cum account room at Gulmarg Gondola and looted cash of Rs 51 lakh by breaking into the fire-cum-bullet-proof cash chest.

Police had registered a case (FIR no. 05 of 2019) under section 457, 380 RPC in Police Station Gulmarg following the burglary incident.
