Bus Stand Pulwama turns into garbage dumping yard, officials promise action

Pulwama: General Bus Stand Pulwama has been turned into a garbage dumping yard as heaps of waste is lying scattered in the area and Municipal Committee fails clear the area.

Locals accuse MC Pulwama of willfully not clearing the area of waste collected by them around the area.

“They have failed to create a waste collection points in the area but they keep dumping the waste in the General Bus Stand,” locals claim.

Interestingly MC Committee official Mushtaq Ahmad told INS that they are searching for dumping site.

“We will remove the garbage from the area early morning,” Mushtaq said.
