Tourist guide loses life while saving 7 others, body retrieved from water body

Anantnag: Body of the tourist guide who lost his life while saving seven people has been retrieved near Bhawani Bridge from Lidder here.

The deceased has been identified as  Rouf Ahmad Dar.

“He lost his life while successfully saving 5 tourists including 2 outsiders,” an official from the district administration said.

The body after completion of Medico legal formalities was handed over to his relatives.
