BASHARAT RASHID
Tral: The aspiring Undergraduate (UG) students in Tral who recently passed their 12th standard bi-annual examinations have accused the GDC Tral authorities of denying them admissions.
A delegation of students who passed 10+2 exams alleged that they visited college for admissions but were denied by the authorities.
They also said that the authorities had promised them admission soon after clearing the 12th standard bi-annual exams but nothing has been done so far.
One of the aspiring students said, “Soon after the results, we sought admission forms but the college authorities denied us the same due to which we fear loss of precious one year.”
The students demanded immediate intervention of higher authorities into the matter to save their precious year.
Meanwhile, an official in the college said that aspiring students were asked to get their admissions provisionally till result declaration.
“It is up to the university authorities now, whether they will allow them to get admissions or not,” he said.
