Injured PDP activist succumbs at SKIMS

Srinagar: After battling for life for eight days, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activist, who was shot at by suspected militants in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, has succumbed to his injuries.According to sources Irfan Hameed Lone of Zainapora breathed his last at SKIMS during intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.He and Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, both associated with PDP, were fired upon by suspected militants on May 8.The duo was workers of PDP and remained as polling agents in Zainapora on May 6 Lok Sabha elections.
