LS polls: 2.8 percent votes cast till10 am in Kulgam

Kulgam: 2.8 Percent votes have been cast in Kulgam district up to 10 am as voting for Anantnag parliamentary seat is underway in the district.

Offcials said that in Kulgam 528 votes were cast making up 0.5% of electorate.

In Noorabad constituency 4509 votes have been caste making 5.9% of total voters.

For HS Bugh,  it was 292 votes i.e 0.4% and in  Devsar 4459 votes were cast i.e 4.9%.

It is for the first time that voting for the Anantnag parliamentary seat is being conducted in three phases.

While District Anantnag went to polls few days back, Kulgam votes today.

Pulwama and Shopian will go to polls on May 3.

Observers believe poll percentage in Kulgam will not go beyond 7 percent or less.
