Farooq Ahmad Lone Among 6 Officers Transferred, Kansal given additional charge

Srinagar: The State government on Tuesday ordered transfer of six officers in the interest of administration and two separate orders in this effect were passed with concurrence from election commission amid model code of conduct.
According to the first order issued here, Farooq Ahmad Lone (IAS), Special Secretary, Social Welfare Department, looking alter the work of Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department and holding additional charge of Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
“The officer shall continue to hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department.”
Rohit Kansal (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development & Monitoring, Civil Aviation, Hospitality & Protocol and Estates Departments, has been asked to hold the charge of Principal Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Meanwhile, as per a separate order, Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, KAS, Commissioner, Food Safety, I&K, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Stationery and Office Supplies, J&K.
Vinod Sharma, Director General, Stationery and Office Supplies, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Food Safety, J&K.
Pradeep Kumar, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Depaltment, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the J&K State Vigilance Commission.
Tej Krishan Bhat, KAS, Secretary in the J&K State Vigilance Commission, has been transferred and posted as Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants), J&K, relieving Pankaj Magotra, KAS, Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu of the additional charge of the post.
Jahangir Hashmi, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Monitoring), holding additional charge of Additional Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency. One post of Selection Grade of KAS from the overall cadre strength of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service is transferred to the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department for drawl of salary of Jahangir Hashmi.
