Shopian: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was caught by residents of Zarkan village in Shopian on Wednesday while allegedly trying to stealing cattle

A police official told INS that the cop was caught by villagers and handed over to police.

He was identified as Jahangir Ahmad Wani of Balpora.

Wani, according to the official, was caught in Zarkan village while he was trying to steal the cattle from the area.
