BASHARAT RASHID
Pulwama: The family of Sajad Ahmad Khan in Hundoora Tral, has refuted claims made by  Delhi police that their son was arrested on Thursday near Lal Quila Delhi. “He was already in police custody for more than a month,” they said.
The father Ghulam Nabi Khan said that it is impossible that, Sajad, a shawl vendor, who was in police custody in Delhi from February was arrested on Thursday.
“He is being implicated in false case,” Khan said.
,”Sajad was arrested last month along with his other colleagues from Kashmir. While all others were released, he was not,” Khan claimed.
“I even reached Delhi, following his detention and remained there for a month. I went to special cell Lodhi Nagar but couldn’t see him,” he said.
He however said that, police assured him that his son will be released soon but the claims by Delhi police have come as a shock to family.
Khan lost two of his sons, both militants, within a span of six months last year.
“Having no source of income Sajjad went to Delhi for selling shawls,” he said.
