Thousands Attend Warpora Sopore Militant’s Funeral

Srinagar: Thousands of people on Saturday evening participated in the funeral prayers of a local militant killed along with his associate at Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said more than five thousand attended the funeral of the militant—Tahir Ahmad War alias Tahir Molvi at Warpora. Reportedly some militants appeared and offered gun salute to him. However it was not officially confirmed.
