Civilian injured in LoC shelling in Uri on March 10 dies

Baramulla: Ten days after he sustained injuries in shelling along the Line of Control in Uri sector of this north Kashmir district, a civilian succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura Srinagar on Wednesday.
Reports said 32-year-old Reyaz Ahmad (32) son of Sader Din resident of Batar Kundi Barjala Kamalkote succumbed to his injuries at the Valley’s only tertiary care hospital overnight.
A police official confirmed the death and said three other persons who were injured along with him are stable.
The four persons were injured in LoC shelling on March 10 and Reyaz along with another injured were shifted to SKIMS for specialized treatment.
