Dachigam fire doused, under control say officials

Srinagar: Fire that erupted in the Dachigam sanctuary on Sunday evening has been brought in control, officials said on Monday.
Range officer wildlife Dachigam Showkat Ahmad told INS that a joint team of Wildlife department, SDRF, Police department, Forest department and locals rushed to the spot of fire to douse it.
“The fire has been brought in control,” Ahmad said.
He said the bush fire has been doused and stopped from spreading further.
