2 persons die in mishaps in Ramban, Udhampur

Srinagar: Two persons were killed in two separate mishaps in Ramban and Udhampur districts of Jammu, officials said on Sunday.

They said 33-year-old Mohammad Qasim Gujjar son of Ghulam Hussain Binth, a resident of Aarmarg, Mahoo died after the landslide hit him along with three others persons at Khari-Mahoo road in Ramban district. The injured have been admitted in sub-district hospital Banihal by the locals.

Meanwhile one person died in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Udhampur area on Sunday.

Reports said a passenger vehicle (JK 11-6419) on way to Srinagar from Jammu met with an accident at Mand Tikri in Udhampur, resulting in death Fazel Rashid (36), a resident of Baramulla and injuries to two other persons who have been shifted to Public Health Centre (PHC) Tikri.
