SSM students offer Funeral prayers in absentia for victims of New Zealand mosque massacre

Srinagar: Students of SSM College of engineering held funeral prayers in absentia for the people killed in Christchurch mosque massacre in New Zealand yesterday.

The students assembled inside campus and offered funeral prayers for 49 muslims killed in the terror attack.

The victims had gathered to offer Friday prayers when a white supermacist terrorist attacked them with automatic rifles killing 49 and injuring dozens inside the two mosques.

The students of SSM also protested and condemned the terror act.
