The relatives of three Tangdhar residents slain in Sadhna top incident assembled at the Deputy Commissioners office demanding to be airlifted to take part in the last rites of their deceased kins.
They accused government of failing to construct Sadhna tunnel.
“Construct the tunnel or we will move to other side to Pakistan,” they said.
The road to Tangdhar is closed for over two months now but was opened for vehicular movement somedays back only to be shut again due to fresh snowfall and rain.

Talking to INS, the relatives of deceased said that Tangdhar Army unit has denied permission to them for travelling towards Tangdhar.
“We were made to wait for whole day but late in the evening they told us to leave and said ‘Go die somewhere.” they claimed.
According to them the three persons who died on the Sadhna Top were on their way back home after almost four months.
“They were working outside the state to feed their respective families,” they said.
Sister of one of the deceased pleaded that they should be airlifted.
“Let us see our loved ones for one last time,” she urged authorities.
They said that if the government fails to open the road by March 15 they will open open Muzaffarabad-Pakistan road themselves.

Three persons died after a snow slide swept them at  Khooni nallah along Sadhna top in Kupwara district.
An official said that, five  persons who had escaped the security checkup were on way towards Karnah and upon reaching near Khnooni Nallah a snow slide late in the night swept them.
“Among them two escaped unhurt. They had informed the nearest Army unit for necessary help. Later a team of Police and Army reached the  spot and recovered three dead bodies who had also suffered severe cold in the area and were buried under snow,” officials said.
The officials identified the deceased as Khalid Sheikh S/O Qadir Sheikh R/O Hajinar, Tahir Khoja S/O Younis Khoja R/O Hajinar, and Fareed Ahmad S/O Lal Din R/O Shamaspora.
