Gunfight, clashes in Pinglish Tral

Pulwama: A gunfight between militants and government forces has started in Pinglish village of Tral sub district on Sunday afternoon.
Official sources said that Army, CRPF’s 180 batallion and Police launched cordon and search operation in Pinglish on Sunday morning.
The hiding militants, the sources said, opened fire which was retaliated by joint team of forces, triggering gunfight, which is going on when this report was filed.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted between youth and the government forces. The forces also resorted to heavy teargas shelling to disperse the surging protesters, they added.
