Pulwama : The Indonesian girl married to a Kashmiri boy, who was killed last month has said that she will not leave the valley and has decided to stay back. 
Abid, her husband was killed on Dec last years after a fierce gunfight broke out in the region, seven civilians including him died as well.
Wiwiek Widiasati changed her name to Saima and would live with Abid in volatile Kareemabad area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The daughter of the couple, Adfa, is four months old now.
“Why will I leave this place? My husband is here and this is place is the identity of my child,” Saima said.
Saima said that she has decided not to leave the place but to stay in Pulwama.
According to her in-laws Saima visits the grave of Abid, every Friday
“I am lokong for a job. I will be applying for (OCIA) overseas Citizenship of India, as well,” she said.
Saima said that on the fateful day she had asked Abid to get milk for baby from the market.
“When he didn’t return after an hour, I started looking for him and after two hours came to know that he has been killed by the army,” said Saima.
Abid was working in a private company in Jakarta after completing his Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
She agreed to change her name to Saima, as , Abid had asked her to do so.
Abid and Saima married in 2017. In September 2018, the duo gave birth to a baby girl.
