Schools, college vacations extended till March 10 in Kashmir

Srinagar: The authorities on Friday extended the winter vacation in schools and colleges of Kashmir Valley till March 10.
“The class work in all schools upto higher secondary and degree colleges of Kashmir will now resume from March 11,” the official said. The decision, according to an official was taken in view of the prevailing inclement weather in Kashmir. However, sources said that decision was taken while taking security situation into consideration. The schools and colleges were supposed to reopen from March 05.
