Srinagar: The Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with rest of the world, shall remain closed for fresh traffic on fourth consecutive day tomorrow.
“Subject to fair weather/clearance of road tomorrow on 23.02.2019, only stranded vehicles shall be allowed towards Srinagar,” a traffic department official said.
The traffic movement remained disrupted on 3rd day on Thursday due to landslides, intermittent shooting stones at several places between Ramban-Banihal stretch, the official added. Over 1500 vehicles including passenger ones are stranded on the thoroughfare.
