Govt modifies vacation order: Teachers to join duties on March 5

Srinagar: The State Government on Friday ordered that teaching faculty shall also report for duties on March 5 instead of February 25 as ordered earlier.

“In partial modification to government order no. 74-Edu of 2019 dated 21.02.2019 and considering inclement weather and closure of the (Srinagar-Jammu) highway, it is hereby ordered that the teaching faculty shall also report for duties on March 5 on reopening of the schools,” reads an order issued by the Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Secretary to government education department.
