Secretary PHE Farooq Shah Resigns, Likely To Join Politics

Srinagar: Secretary PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control and DMRRR, Farooq Ahmad Shah has opted for voluntary retirement from service and is likely to join politics.
While the announcement of Shah opting for voluntary retirement was made by the state’s information on its twitter handle, sources said that the IAS officer would formally join active politics in next few days.
Attempts to contact Shah did not fructify immediately but people close to him informed that he will join politics in few days from now.
