Gov’t order major reshuffle in administration, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary is new DC Srinagar

Srinagar: Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered fresh transfers and postings in civil administration including a rejig in district administration Srinagar.

An order issued by the general administration department of the Jammu and Kahsmir government said that Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Srinagar.

Chaudhary was posted as Deputy Commissioner Bandipora.

The incumbent Srinagar DC Syed Abid Rasheed has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.

Here is the complete list of transfer and new postings:

1. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary, IAS (JK:2009), Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar.

2. Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, IAS (JK:2010), Director Area Planning & ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Metropolitan Regulatory Authority, Jammu. He shall also hold the charge of MD/Chief Executive Officer, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, Jammu and MD/Chief Executive Officer, Srinagar Metro Rail Transport Corporation.
3. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, IAS (JK:2012), Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama.
4. Mr. Ravinder Kumar, IAS (JK:2012), Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K IT Infrastructure
Company. He shall also hold the charge of I Managing Director, J&K SIDCO.

5. Dr. Piyush Singla, lAS (JK:2012), Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua.
6. Mr. Vikas Kundal, lAS (JK:2013), Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Metropolitan
Regulatory Authority, Srinagar.
7. Mr. Anshul Garg, lAS (JK:2013), Deputy Commissioner, Dada, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara.
8. Mr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray, IAS(JK:2014), Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dada.
9. Mr. Baseer-ui-Haq Chaudhary, IAS(JK:2015), SubDivisional Magistrate, Uri, upon his promotion to the Senior Time Scale of lAS, is transferred and
posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kargil.
10. Mr. Sachin Kumar Vaishy, IAS(JK:2015), SubDivisional Magistrate, Khaltsi, upon his promotion to the Senior Time Scale of lAS, is transferred and
posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, relieving Mr. Moses Kunzang, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Leh of the
additional charge of the post.
11. Mr. Hashmat Ali Khan, KAS, Director, Hospitality and Protocol, J&K, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal.
12. Mr. Amit Sharma, KAS, Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the

Corpor3tion, on deputation basis.
14. Mr. Rohit Khajuria, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur.
