Curfew in Jammu for 5th straight day

Srinagar: Curfew remained imposed in winter capital Jammu for fifth consecutive day on Tuesday following violence in the region targetting a specific community.

People remained indoors as forces patrolled the areas and large forces deployment in sensitive areas imposed restrictions strictly.

 

Curfew was relaxed for 3 hours on Monday in South Jammu.

 

Authorities said that a decision to relax curfew today will be taken later today.

The curfew was imposed on February 15 after violent mobs attacked Kashmiri employees and torched dozens of their vehicles.
