Jammu: Army on Friday carried out flag march in Jammu amid violence by protesters amid imposition of curfew in whole Jammu district.

According to INS correspondent the Army carried out flag march in the volatile Gujjar nagar area where protesters went on a rioting spree damaging cars.

Clashes erupted between protesters and police in Gujjar nagar, a muslim area, after which, authorities decided to impose curfew to put a curb on deteriorating situation.

Authorities have imposed curfew in Jammu district to control the situation.

IGP Jammu has asked to stay calm and not to play in hands of anti nationals and urged people not to resort to break communal harmony.
