Anantnag avalanche: 2 missing persons found dead

Anantnag: Bodies of two missing persons were recovered from snow mass in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Official sources said that during snow clearance on Pahalgam -Aru road, the JCB with three persons on board it came under an avalanche near Gudkhamb point.
One among them, Javaid Ahmad sheikh son of Mohammad Shaban Sheikh of Frislan Pahalgam was found critically injured while large scale rescue operation was launched to trace out the two missing persons.
The rescuers later found bodies of two missing persons and one of them has been identified as Ilyas Ahmad son of Abdul Gani of Midoora Tral in Pulwama district.
