Govt begins hunt for Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages

Srinagar: Government on Tuesday constituted to a Search Committee to recommend a panel of not less than three persons for appointment to the post of Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages.
The committee to be headed by Professor Shafi Shouq (Sahitya Academy Awardee) comprises Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Vice president J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages, administrative secretary GAD, administrative secretary cultural department and Dr Jitendar Udhampuri (Padam Shree Awardee).
The committee shall be serviced by the Department of Culture and shall submit its recommendations to the President of the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages with in a period of one month, reads a government order issued here.
