1-way traffic from Srinagar to Jammu highway tomorrow, commuters asked not to travel during night

Srinagar: The traffic authorities have urged commuters not to travel during night hours on Srinagar-Jammu highway which opened for one-way traffic fresh traffic for the first time in last one week.
According to traffic department, there would be one-way from traffic, both LMVs/HMVs, from Srinagar towards Jammu subject to fair weather and road condition.
“The commuters are advised not to travel during night hours. No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from opposite direction,” the official said, adding, “People are advised to undertake journey on (highway) only after confirming status of the road from phone Nos. (0191-2459048, 9419147732)
