TRAL : Under the banner of “Non- Gazetted Forest Officers Association”, forests employees on Thursday staged a protest demonstration in Tral area of South Kashmir to stress upon the authorities to fulfill the long pending demands of the Forest employees of the State.

Scores of of Non-Gazetted employees assembled at forest Range Office, in Bajwani Tral, where they staged protest amid chill and raised slogans against the authorities concerned for ignoring their demands.
“Despite back to back assurances from government, our demands are yet to be fulfilled. We will continue our protests till the demands are not fulfilled,” a forest official Ujjal Singh said.
The employees urged the concerned authorities particularly the governor of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill the genuine demands of Forest employees without any further delay.
As per the members of association, the main demands of them are release of two & half days extra salary in favour of Forest frontline employees, risk allowance, conducting DPCs of all cadres, reorganization of the department and regularization/release of wages in respect of daily wagers, CAMPA casual labours/need based, seasonal labours and consolidated employees of the department.
