BASHARAT RASHID
TRAL: The BG 4th semester candidates of Kashmir university’s 2015 batch with backlog on Wednesday demanding declaration of their pending results.
A group of students have said that their exams to backlog subjects were held in the month of September last year but their “result is yet to be declared.”
“it has been four months since we wrote the exam but result is still pending,” they said, adding, “we lost many opportunities despite passing all the other papers.”
The students told INS that they had backlog in one or two subjects of 4th semester due which they “lost opportunity in many places like recent JK Bank job recruitment and admission in Kashmir University.”
They said authorities in Kashmir University assured them of result declaration in the 1st week of January but “nothing has been done so far”
The students have demanded immediate declaration of 4th semester backlog results as early as possible to get “admissions in IGNOU and other universities.”
