Pulwama: Amid clashes spontenous shutdown was observed in South Kashmir’s Pulwama town following the Budgam encounter as news spread about the killing of three Pulwama militants spread.

Locals said that as news spread that three militants killed in Budgam encounter are from Pulwama shopkeepers downed there shutters and public transport went into chaos.

Hundreds of youth took to streets and pelted stones to government forces which fired tear smoke cansisters and sound shells to disperse the angry youth.

Meanwhile internet services 2G ,3G and 4 G were suspended in district pulwama following the encounter

Clashes were going on when this report was filed.
