Shopian: Panic gripped Sugan and Chillipora villages of South Kashmir’s Shopian district when bullet sounds were heard on Wednesday .

Reports said that militants appeared on Wednesday afternoon in Sugan and Chillipora, native villages of Al-Badr Zeenat-u-Islam and Shakeel Ahmad Dar, and offered gun salute to them on their fourth (Rashme Charam)

Sources said they fired few shots in air to offer salute to slain militants while as large number of youth appeared on the scene. Police said that it was investigating the reports.
