Mayor SMC meets Governor

Jammu: Junaid Azim Mattu, Mayor, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Mattu briefed Governor about the plans of the SMC for ensuring efficient delivery of public services under its purview and steps taken by the SMC for maintenance of cleanliness, sanitation and beautification of the area within its jurisdiction.
Governor congratulated Sh. Mattu for taking over as Mayor of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and urged him to make Srinagar city clean and green besides ensuring round the clock provision of basic civic amenities to the people.
