Pulwama: One militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire between militants and Governement forces after the former attacked a patrolling party in Pulwama district of South Kashmir.

“One militant has been killed in the shootout,” army sources confirmed to INS.

Army’s 55 RR patrolling party was moving through Choudribagh LItter area of the district when militants opened gunfire on them which was retailiated and  in the ensuing firefight one militant was killed.

The identity of the militant has not been disclosed so far.

Meanwhile internet has been suspended in the area.
