Kupwara: The residents of Dhani Sadpora Tangdhar  at Actual Line Of Control (ALC) in northern kahsmirs kupwara district  on Friday held a protest demonstration against the Public Health Engineering Department over failing to provide the water to their area amid harsh ongoing winter. 
Reports reaching here said that, scores of men women on Friday afternoon assembled in their respective area and shouted anti PHE slogans alleging them of not providing water to their area.
“We urged the concerned department  to look Into the matter many times but they seem not interested in letting people have a sigh of relief,” they said.
“We belong to Actual Line Of Control in Tandgar, which means we live under the shades of a gun. It’s not always safe for our women folks to move and fetch water from far off places from streams and other sources,” they said.
The protesting residents have urged to district Developmetal Commissioner  to look into their genuine demand so that the residents avail water supply without any further delay.
