Pulwama : Thousands of people thronged Koil village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to participate in funeral prayers of Ishfaq Yousuf, the MBA-turned militant who was killed in a brief shootout on early Friday morning.
The whole village was wailing and mourning as body of slain reached his native village.
Eyewitness said multiple rounds of funerals were held for slain amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Ishfaq completed his MBA in 2015 and started to work in a private bank (ICICI) and latter left it to started a fruit business of his own.
He was a brilliant student and was studied at Alamdar Public school at Koil. He studied science stream at graduation level and completed MBA. He had joined militant ranks on July 18 this year.
