Anantnag:-  Fire broke out in south Kashmir’s famous tourist resort Pahalgam market in Anantnag district today afternoon that damaged several shops and residential houses
The blaze erupted at around 3:30 p.m. and quickly spread to adjacent shops and a residential house, reports said.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the operation to bring the flames under control was going on when this report was filed.
The cause of the fire and the intensity of the damage could not be verified immediately.
