Kupwara: A girl died and eight other suffered injuries after a vehicle they had boarded met with an accident at Thali Machil of district Kupwara in on Saturday afternoon.
Reports said that a sumo vehicle turned turtle at Thali Machil this afternoon resulting in on spot death of a female passenger while eight others were injured in the mishap.
The vehicle which met with accident was heading towards kupwara from Ringpin.
The identification of deceased and injured couldn’t be known immediately.
More details of the incident are awaited.
