Budgam: The tabular electric pole of 11kv erected power line at Khanda village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district is on the verge of fall. The half-fallen electric pole lies few meters ahead from the receiving station Khanda. Concerned authorities have put the lives of people on risk.
The tabular pole that acts base of 11kv line which begins from receiving station Khanda to supply electricity to its adjacent villages of Wagoora and Suthsoo Kalan lays still unrepaired, a group of residents told The INS News. Adding further they said that “the pole has created a fear among the villagers, every day passers including students and farmers as the pole seems to topple down at any time and may lead to any uncertainty as the concerned officials are in deep slumber no one among them bothers to fix this half fallen pole.”
When contacted Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), PDD Chadoora, Irshad Ahmad, said that, “I will look into the matter and will get it fixed very soon”.
