JDU J&K President mèets Governor, discusses political scenario, extends support in helping peace in J&K

Jammu: Janta Dal (United) JD (U) State President G M Shaheen on Monday met Governor S P Malik at Raj Bhawan Jammu and discussed present political scenario including streamlining the peace process in Jammu and Kashmir State.

Shaheen while addressing the media persons outside the Raj Bhawan Jammu said, “We have discussed on present political scenario of the state particularly the unrest of Kashmir valley which is going to streamlining after Governor taking over charge of the state.

He further said that Governor SP Malik did several historical decisions which were overlooked by previous governments since independence including ULB Panchayat elections and dissolving of state Assembly which has created uncertainty in the present political scenario in the state.

Taking a dig on regional parties including Congress for creation chaos among the people of the state, Shaheen said, “The sudden announcement of grand alliance of NC,  PDP and Congress who wanted to form a government in J&K is just remain on power for their vested interests without taking the aspirations of the people of the state.”

“When they (NC, PDP, Congress including BJP) are in power, all of them are enjoying their tenure and left the miseries of the people on the Almighty God. They never bothered to address the problems of stakeholders who have voted them in the elections since independence,” he alleged.

“Formation of new alliance government in J&K is just mere an eye wash as people are now understand their nefarious designs and vested interests. Soon, the people of J&K will giving then befitting reply in upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections,” he added.

He further appreciated the Governor in bringing transparency and accountability in the state by  taking serious efforts in bringing the state from clutches of Corruption.

He also extended its full support to Governor in bringing peaceful atmosphere in the state which has been disturbed since turmoil in the state.
