Shopian: Massive clashes have started in this south Kashmir district’s Batagund area where a “search operation” was going on following a gunfight between militants and government forces on Sunday.
Reports said that hundreds of people rushed to the site of encounter and when this report was filed, the clashes were going on. So far four militants have been killed and reportedly the slain include a top commander each of the Lashker-e-Toiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.
