Former SPO killed, 2 others set free

Shopian:  A former SPO, abducted along with two other persons by unknown gunmen from a village in Shopian district of south Kashmir, was killed on Friday night.

A police official said that militants abducted Basharat Ahmad Wagay (former SPO), Zahid Ahmad Wagay, and Reyaz Ahmad Wagay, all residents of Reban village of Zainpora. While two others were freed, the SPO was killed, he added.
