Forces launch CASO in Shopian villages

Kulgam: The Government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Bugam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Thursday. Sources said that a joint team of 9 RR of Army and Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the villages. Clashes also started between government forces and youth who took to streets and started stone pelting on them. A search operation was going on when this report was filed.
